Duration: 1 year

Location: Chai Chee

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5.45pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly management and financial reports.
• Perform account reconciliations (including bank and balance sheet reconciliations) and ensure accuracy of sub-ledgers.
• Identify potential financial risks and recommend measures to mitigate them.
• Ensure documentation, working papers, and reports meet internal quality and audit standards.
• Support divisional teams by providing timely financial insights and resolving queries.
• Ensure accounting treatment aligns with company policies and internal controls.
• Liaise with internal/external auditors and relevant stakeholders when required.
• Work closely with Group Reporting, FP&A, and other finance teams on reporting and accounting changes.
• Stay updated on IFRS and local reporting standards.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or accounting
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
