Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Asset Management Lead to oversee the full lifecycle of IT and client assets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys process optimization, and has strong stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end asset lifecycle, including delivery, tagging, withdrawal, deployment, collection, and disposal.
- Lead and mentor the asset management team, driving a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Service Delivery Manager, Desktop Engineers) and external customers to ensure smooth coordination of asset activities.
- Conduct regular meetings with customers to provide updates on asset status, requirements, risks, and progress.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date asset records; generate and present asset management reports as required.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in asset management, logistics, or operations coordination.
- Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail and strong time‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in asset management tools or systems (e.g., ServiceNow) will be an advantage.
- Comfortable with walking moderate distances (10–15 minutes) within customer premises.
- Physically able to handle IT equipment (e.g., laptops, desktops, monitors) for store transfers when required.
