Job summary

Chevron Singapore Pte Ltd on Jurong Island, Singapore is seeking a Design & Inspection Engineer to develop and execute inspection strategies for fixed equipment and piping, manage inspection programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and support reliability and MOC initiatives.

The role includes incident investigations and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen asset reliability and safe plant operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Mechanical or Material Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in refineries or petrochemical operating plant maintenance environments.
Knowledge of codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME B73.1, ASME Section V/VIII/IX, API 510/570/653/610.

Responsibilities

Develops fixed equipment & piping inspection strategy using industry best practices or RBI, or Chevron FEAS methodology.
Acts as fixed equipment & piping SME to determine integrity and perform fitness-for-service evaluations.
Leads or supports inspection programs (piping, tanks, vessels, PRD, etc.) and ensures program health and regulatory compliance.
Leads or supports MOC projects for fixed equipment & piping reliability improvement.
Leads incident investigations and performs RCA to improve reliability.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to solve maintenance challenges.
Acts as site Technical, Code & Standard advisor, and supports maintenance and project works within the Oronite Design Engineering network.
