Job summary

A global technology company in Singapore is seeking an Assembly Technician. Responsibilities include assembling modules per specifications and testing components for defects. Candidates must have a diploma in relevant engineering fields and prior experience in a cleanroom environment. This role offers shifts from 7AM to 1:30AM, Monday to Friday.

Assembly Technician | Shift - East [DAPH]

Our client is an American multinational corporation that supplies equipment, services and software for the manufacture of semiconductor chips.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, AM Shift (7AM to 4:30PM); PM Shift (4:30PM to 1:30AM)

Working Location: East

Responsibilities

• To assemble and integrate modules, sub-modules or systems based on the assigned blueprint specifications, routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams etc.
• To build, develop, repair and/or test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, sub‑assemblies and components.
• Perform examinations on the assemblies, sub‑assemblies and components with test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps for potential defects.
• Carry out audit on the components to ensure availability for assembly, test and repair.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in production or semiconductor assembly in a manufacturing/cleanroom environment (mechanically inclined).
• Diploma/NITEC/Higher NITEC in relevant engineering fields (manufacturing, production, mechanical, assembly etc).
