Job summary

A leading energy company in Singapore is looking for Assembly Technicians to join their Gas Power Repair facilities. The role involves performing various fitting and repair tasks, operating specialized machinery, and ensuring quality control. Candidates with a background in Engineering or relevant experience are preferred, but training will be provided for suitable candidates. A basic command of English and the ability to work shifts are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience preferred, training provided for inexperienced candidates.
• Basic command of English (speak and read) is required.
• Must be able to perform rotating shifts.

Job Description Summary

We are looking for Assembly Technicians across various disciplines to join our Gas Power Repair facilities based in Pioneer Singapore

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Perform all fitting work in section as assigned per work instruction.

• Assist in dismantling, inspects, refits and reassembly of parts and other mechanical

equipment in accordance to work instruction.

• Perform blending and polishing repair work.

• Perform brazing powder and paste applications.

• Set up and operate machines (such as shop peen, cold spray, backflush and moment

weighing) as assigned for repairing of gas turbine blades (training will be provided for the

specialized machines)

• Perform quality check after the process

• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and

schedules.

• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe

practices/conditions.

• Support other area of work as assigned.

• Support other department in relevant jobs and any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Completed Secondary level or higher education.

• Candidates with NITEC in Engineering preferred.

• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field preferred. However, those without

relevant experience may also apply as training will be provided.

• Basic command of English (speak and read)

• Able to perform rotating shift.
