Job summary

APL Logistics is seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to stabilize and optimize the customer experience. You will lead a team, define KPIs/SLAs, and own the strategic operational roadmap across clusters to maximize bottom-line impact.

You will drive program governance, collaborate with partners, and translate customer requirements into efficient operating procedures while ensuring continuous improvement and high customer satisfaction. Travel quarterly to Singapore and Malaysia as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in logistics or related fields.
• 3-5 years people management experience.
• Proven success leading key account programs.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel quarterly between Singapore and Malaysia.
• Hands-on with strategic planning and execution.
• Able to drive continuous improvement and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Program Managers to govern delivery of customer programs across assigned accounts.
• Own the operational roadmap and prioritize opportunities for impact.
• Apply project management methodologies to ensure outcomes are identified, tracked, and achieved.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners involved in delivering defined customer programs.
• Identify and resolve recurring internal process failures and root causes.
• Remove execution barriers to enable smooth and timely program delivery.
• Define and drive program improvements through data review and performance insights.
• Oversee implementation of agreed solutions to improve outcomes.
• Manage customer escalations requiring senior-level problem-solving and leadership.
• Translate customer requirements into operational procedures to enhance customer experience.
• Review current operations and implement innovation/continuous improvement processes.
• Ensure continuous improvement initiatives deliver measurable benefits.
• Participate in best-practice sharing to improve delivery consistency.
• Evaluate client-facing scope to maximize value delivery and resource efficiency.
