Associate Director, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales & Marketing – SEA

My client is one of the key global pharmaceutical companies and are looking to hire an ASEAN Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Singapore. This role would have you be responsible for end-to-end Supply Chain Management and collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as Contract Manufacturers, Supply and Operations teams to ensure smooth operation of supply chain processes. Your experience in API operational supply planning, strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and work well with others would see you succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities:

Supply Planning & Assurance

  • Own end-to-end supply planning and assurance for assigned products (drug product & finished goods)
  • Develop and maintain rolling 24‑month master supply schedules
  • Manage forecasts, demand changes, supply risks, and mitigation plans
  • Partner with Contract Manufacturers, Brand Supply Leads, API Supply Leads, and Demand Planners
  • Ensure MSA compliance, inventory policy adherence, and customer satisfaction

Inventory & Working Capital Management

  • Drive inventory optimisation and working capital improvements
  • Monitor shelf‑life, expiry risks, and minimise write‑offs
  • Perform root cause analysis on inventory deviations and implement corrective actions

Execution & Logistics

  • Oversee shipment execution and in‑transit monitoring
  • Manage critical shipments and transportation model changes
  • Collaborate with logistics, customs, and intercompany operations teams
  • Act as the main supply chain point of contact for assigned markets
  • Lead communication on supply issues, allocations, and resolution plans
  • Represent E2E Supply Chain Planning in regional and global forums
  • Lead and drive supply chain and process improvement initiatives
  • Promote digital tools, systems, and data‑driven decision‑making

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Management (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years' experience in supply chain planning (pharma industry strongly preferred)
  • Strong expertise in production planning, inventory management, and supply optimisation
  • Experience working in complex, global, matrix organisations
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)

Nice to Have

  • APICS certification
  • SAP
  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory and manufacturing environments
