Role Overview

We’re looking for talented Artisanal Bread Bakers and Culinary Chefs for a local community artisan bakery in central Singapore, whose parent company also produces dried products like flour and malt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bake and deliver high-quality handcrafted pastries using our rich natural ingredients and emphasizing deep flavour and texture
  • Monitor baking schedules to ensure a steady supply of fresh, visually stunning products.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines (SFA requirements, handwashing, glove use, proper storage).
  • Manage customer orders quickly and accurately, especially during peak periods.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties – preparing ingredients, turning on/off machines, counting stock, closing reports, other forms of cleaning and maintenance.
  • Other forms of basic customer service, including addressing complaints or special requests.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef and/or cafe settings, preferably with mini cakes and pastries.
  • Able to stand for long hours and handle fast-paced environments.
  • Able to work weekends, evenings, shifts and Public Holidays (PH) as needed.
  • Salary to scale up based on skills and experience.
