Overview

The Art Therapist is responsible for the provision of individualised and group Art Therapy to inpatients and outpatients, by working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to improve patients’ physical, mental and emotional well-being.

He/she recommends and monitors patient therapy, and interacts with patients, family and other healthcare providers, as appropriate, to achieve desired patient outcomes through safe and timely Art Therapy interventions.

The Art Therapist supports and participates in the SGH mission of providing quality patient care, education, and research.
