A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced site supervisor to oversee architectural finishing works. Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate architectural finishing works, including blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, carpentry, façade works, doors, and ironmongery installation.
• Review and check shop drawings, ensuring proper coordination with M&E services openings, duct routes, and structural elements.
• Review and approve mock-ups, material samples, and workmanship standards in accordance with design intent and project specifications.
• Oversee waterproofing works and conduct flood tests / ponding tests to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Prepare and follow up on architectural defect rectifications prior to TOP (Temporary Occupation Permit) and CSC (Certificate of Statutory Completion) submissions.
• Coordinate with the M&E team to resolve finishes and services interface details effectively on site.
• Ensure all architectural works comply with approved RIDs, architectural drawings, specifications, and Qualified Person (Architect) [QP(A)] instructions.
• Monitor progress, workmanship, and finishing quality, ensuring that completed works meet Client and Consultant expectations.
• Support the Project Team in achieving timely completion, safety, and quality targets for all architectural trades.

Requirements

• Diploma in Architecture, Building, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site supervision experience, preferably with a main contractor in building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of architectural details, finishing materials, and construction coordination.
• Good knowledge of BCA requirements, QP(A) procedures, and architectural inspection standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to finishing quality.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple trades, and meet project deadlines under pressure.
