A leading architecture firm in Singapore seeks an Architect to assist in coordinating design details and managing architectural work on projects. This role requires a degree in Architecture and 3-7 years of experience in Design & Build projects. Knowledge of architectural specifications and software like AutoCAD and Revit is essential. Responsibilities
- Assist the Architect in coordinating design details between clients, consultants, and contractors to align architectural designs with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with project teams to develop architectural designs, schedules, and construction plans
- Manage architectural work scheduling, supervise and inspect all architectural work performed by sub‑contractors according to specifications / drawings
- Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings to assist in contract and procurement management
- Ensure that stakeholders are actively engaged and that beneficial relationships between the project and the client, subcontractors, community, and other external parties are developed and maintained
- Support the Project Manager in all coordination work of civil, structural, architectural and NSC/Direct Contract works
- Study drawings and coordinate architectural works with the consultants and sub‑contractors to resolve any technical / site issues
- Inform Project Director / Project Manager on any technical / site problems pertaining to architectural works
- Prepare and coordinate on Green mark, quality management and CONQUAS assessment
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- Min 3-7 years relevant main contractor experience in Design & Build building project
- Good knowledge of architectural specifications, Architectural & MEP coordination works and requirements
- Possess strong leadership
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other relevant architectural software is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
