Overview

This is a full-time on-site role based in Singapore for an Architectural Coordinator cum Drafter. The individual in this role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing architectural and construction drawings, coordinating with project teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of design submittals, and utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) for project planning and execution. The Architectural Coordinator cum Drafter will also be involved in ensuring that all architectural requirements and standards are met throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare project specifications, drawings, charts, and forms with accuracy
  • Evaluate site feasibility and design layout
  • Manage architectural works scheduling and supervise venue design from concept to construction completion
  • Collaborate with architects, structural, M&E teams, and external consultants to resolve issues and align design direction
  • Lead innovative design ideas across teams; foster a creative culture that encourages collaboration and critical thinking
  • Handle material requisition and source new materials, vendors, and equipment to support design and construction needs
  • Ensure construction and outsourced design deliverables meet quality standards; maintain high design expectations and provide feedback
  • Implement new concept strategies, test innovations, and integrate industrial and spatial design
  • Provide clear, timely direction to project teams; define key design concepts, goals, and responsibilities
  • Attend design and construction meetings; consult with authorities and stakeholders for approvals
  • Ensure all work activities are conducted in a safe environment and comply with regulations
  • Assist Project Manager with daily operations and perform additional tasks as assigned by management
  • Able to operate in both office and on-site
  • Willing to support weekend work based on project needs
Qualifications
  • Relevant Diploma/Degree in Architecture or a related field
  • Minimum a year experience in drafting Architecture drawings, construction drawings and submittals
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / BIM / 3D Rendering
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage
