Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural Coordinator. The role involves supervising architectural works, handling regulatory submissions, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in a relevant field and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Architecture, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong foundation may be considered).
  • Familiar with BCA submission processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate architectural works with other disciplines such as structural and M&E.
  • Attend site coordination meetings and resolve design or site conflicts.
  • Supervise and inspect architectural works on-site.
  • Handle submissions to BCA and other authorities for TOP/CSC clearance.
  • Ensure that architectural works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Job description
1. Architectural Coordination
  • Coordinate architectural works with other disciplines such as structural and M&E.
  • Attend site coordination meetings and resolve design or site conflicts.
2. Drawing Review & Submission
  • Prepare and review architectural shop drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Submit drawings and materials for consultant/authority approval.
3. Site Inspection & Progress Monitoring
  • Supervise and inspect architectural works on-site.
  • Monitor progress and report any delays or discrepancies to the Project Manager.
4. Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
  • Handle submissions to BCA and other authorities for TOP/CSC clearance.
  • Maintain records of architectural inspections, RFI, and material approvals.
5. Quality & Safety
  • Ensure that architectural works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct joint inspections and manage rectification works for defects.Requirement: 6-Day Work Week
