A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to support project management, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate with various stakeholders. The role includes responsibilities such as managing documentation, conducting site inspections, and facilitating communication among team members. Candidates should have experience with design software like Revit and AutoCAD, along with strong problem-solving skills. Assist the Project Manager and Architect in all architectural matters on site.
Study architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details; ensure correct interpretation by the site team.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Highlight discrepancies between architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
Prepare and update shop drawings, as-built drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
Review subcontractors’ drawings for compliance with design intent and project specifications.
Ensure timely submission and approval of architectural documents.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and workmanship standards.
Monitor architectural progress and report delays, defects, and non-conformities.
Assist in site measurements, mock-up inspections, sample board preparation, and material verification.
Attend technical meetings, site coordination meetings, and progress meetings.
Prepare meeting minutes and follow up with actions required by consultants and contractors.
Ensure works comply with statutory requirements (BCA, FSSD, URA, PUB, NEA, etc., if in Singapore).
Check that materials and workmanship meet project specifications and QP (Qualified Person) requirements.
Support documentation for QA / QC, CONQUAS, and architectural inspection checklists.
Identify technical issues early and propose practical and cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate rectification works with subcontractors and ensure timely closure.
Assist in preparing architectural handover documents, including manuals, as-built, and defect lists.
Participate in inspections with clients, consultants, and authorities.
Manage defects rectification during DLP (Defects Liability Period).
