Job summary

Job description
Job Scope
  1. Assist the Manager in preparing reports, managing project documentation, and participating in coordination meetings.
  2. Lead a team of Design Coordinators and Architectural personnel to manage and coordinate all architectural works in line with project specifications, schedules, and quality requirements.
  3. Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of architectural drawings and details.
  4. Ensure compliance with local authority guidelines, codes of practice, and internal company standards.
  5. Plan, organise, and oversee the preparation of construction drawings, including shop drawings, submissions, and approval processes.
  6. Provide technical guidance to the site team and resolve design discrepancies or issues encountered during construction.
  7. Monitor architectural progress on-site and address coordination matters involving structural, M&E, and ID trades.
  8. Conduct site inspections to verify that workmanship and materials meet architectural standards and specifications.
  9. Communicate effectively in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure clarity and alignment on project requirements and expectations.
Job Requirements
  • Possess Bachelor Degree in Architecture with at least 7 years of relevant managerial experience in a main construction firm.
  • Strong understanding of local submission and regulatory processes (e.g., URA, BCA, or relevant local authorities).
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, and able to work independently while demonstrating strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts is an added advantage.
  • Able to work 5.5 days work week.
