Job summary

An award-winning architecture firm in Singapore seeks a Team Lead with extensive experience in architectural design and team management. You will be responsible for overseeing design workflows and ensuring project delivery from inception to completion. Ideal candidates should possess at least 5-8 years of design experience, along with strong project management skills. Proficiency in software such as Revit and AutoCAD is required. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse residential projects both locally and overseas.

Job description

Our client is an award-winning architecture firm that specialises in residential and community projects. This is a Team Lead role focusing on regional and local projects.

The successful candidate is tasked to oversee the design workflow of the team, and to ensure delivery of projects from inception to completion. He or she should be on top of all stakeholders relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative high-quality architectural designs and design solutions including conceptualisation, preparation of plans/ graphics/ documentation/write-ups, specifications and all other project related materials
• Responsible for planning, designing and implementing landed residential projects in the local and overseas market
• Ability to manage a team of Architects/ Architect Associates
• Work with internal & external stakeholders e.g. clients, consultants, contractors and workers on various design issues, submissions and the execution of the site works
• Monitor project progress to ensure projects are carried out within contract agreement and schedule
• Attend project / technical / consultant meetings where required
• Any other duties as and when assigned e.g. Design competition

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture from a recognised tertiary institution
• At least 5-8 years of local design experience
• Team management experience of at least 2 years
• Eligibility for Professional Architectural accreditation is an advantage
• Good project management, excellent communication, and coordination skills
• Must be willing to do ad‑hoc design work
• Well versed in Revit/ArchiCad/BIM, Autocad, Sketchup, PhotoShop and Office software
• Knowledge of Revit is an advantage
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to communicate effectively in the written, oral and graphic form
• Able to multi‑task and with good time management
• Conversant with Local Residential Authorities’ regulations and compliances
