Job summary

A local architectural firm in Singapore is seeking a motivated Architectural Associate to support projects in residential, commercial, and institutional sectors. Overview

Seeking for a motivated Architectural Associate to support our projects across residential, commercial and institutional sectors. This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy hands-on project involvement and wish to gain exposure to the full architectural process in a small, collaborative team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare architectural drawings including plans, elevations, sections and construction details
  • Assist with URA, BCA, SCDF, LTA, NEA and other authority submissions
  • Support concept design, feasibility studies and design development
  • Produce technical documentation, tender drawings and specifications
  • Coordinate with consultants (C&S, M&E, QS, PE) and ensure technical compliance
  • Attend site meetings, conduct site inspections and support project supervision
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities
  • Ensure all design and documentation comply with local codes and regulations
  • Assist senior architects with project coordination, scheduling and deliverables
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture / Architectural Technology or equivalent
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Suite are advantageous)
  • Understanding of Singapore building codes, regulations and authority processes
  • Experience in authority submissions is a plus but not compulsory
  • Strong technical drafting ability and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Positive learning attitude and willingness to take on responsibility
