Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading, mentoring and developing an architectural team
• Supervise the preparation of specifications and tendering documentations
• Create and oversee general design and project direction for projects across the country, overseas travel when necessary
• Design development of existing projects and evaluation with specific details on benchmark / competitive / winning projects
• Review and approve conceptual and schematic design and detail working drawings
• Supervise the preparation of specifications and tendering documentations
• Supervision of construction and resolve technical issues
• Plan and supervise authority submission requirements and procedure for projects

JOB COMPETENCY (QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE)

• A recognized Degree in Architecture, preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant architectural experience
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices
• Strong knowledge and understanding of project, material and cost management;
• Proven knowledge in carpentry construction & technical detail drawings;
• Excellent in design presentation and human relation skill;
• Good team leader
• Conversant with local codes and regulations
• At least 1 year BIM project implementation experience with in-depth knowledge of REVIT architecture
