Job summary

A leading architectural firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual to lead an architectural team. You will supervise design processes, manage specifications, and ensure compliance with local codes. Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Strong knowledge of architectural details and construction practices.
• Conversant with local codes and regulations.
• At least 1 year BIM project implementation experience.

Job description

Leading, mentoring and developing an architectural team

Supervise the preparation of specifications and tendering documentations

Create and oversee general design and project direction for projects across the country, overseas travel when necessary

Design development of existing projects and evaluation with specific details on benchmark / competitive / winning projects

Review and approve conceptual and schematic design and detail working drawings

Supervise the preparation of specifications and tendering documentations

Supervision of construction and resolve technicalissues

Plan and supervise authority submission requirements and procedure for projects

JOB COMPETENCY (QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE)

• A recognized Degree in Architecture, preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant architectural experience
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices
• Strong knowledge and understanding of project, material and cost management;
• Proven knowledge in carpentry construction & technical detail drawings;
• Excellent in design presentation and human relation skill;
• Good team leader
• Conversant with local codes and regulations
• At least 1 year BIM project implementation experience with in-depth knowledge of REVIT architecture
