Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. Singapore seeks a capable professional to support wafer matching and lot handling in a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will configure bonding UI, track lots, and apply AI-driven methods to boost efficiency in data handling and reporting.

The role collaborates with Process Integration engineers on line issues, coordinates inspections on R&D experiments, and manages logistics for transfers between fabs to support technology learning and yield improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent background in a related field.
• Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of SPC, SWR, QDR, Micron Central and Klarity.
• Experience with FE MES and LMS is preferred, as the role involves handling SWM outputs and operating within manufacturing execution systems.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to build peer relationships.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot problems and address root causes.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
• Strong customer service skills and dedication to meeting customer needs.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication process areas (Photo, Dry Etch, Diffusion, CVD, Wet Etch, Plating, Implant, PVD, CMP).
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic scripting/AI skills are advantaged.

Responsibilities

• Primarily focus on wafer matching including lot pairing and execution.
• Configure the bonding UI and track development lots, interpreting wafer matching outputs and performing wafer shuffling.
• Apply AI-enabled methods to improve efficiency in wafer matching, lot tracking, data summarization, and routine reporting.
• Assist PI Engineers to coordinate and troubleshoot daily line issues and line deviations.
• Assist in inline inspection and coordinate non-routine inspection on R&D experiments.
• Support process flow setup activities for production and the short loop flow.
• Extract, analyze, and summarize data from SWR and Conversion experiments and make engineering recommendations.
• Manage wafer shipment logistics between fabs for technology transfer and yield learning.
• Monitor key inline/probe/final parametric indices and trigger investigations when deviations occur.
• Utilize Micron systems (Micron Central/DataNav/SPACE) to perform routine tasks.
• Contribute to PI operational procedures, systems/tools, and KPI improvements.
• Assist PI team supervisors with Team Level KPIs.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Primarily focus on wafer matching including lot pairing and execution.
• Configure the bonding UI and continuously track development lots, including interpreting wafer matching outputs, executing wafer shuffling within the bonding UI, and monitoring subsequent wafer build and pairing.
• Apply AI-enabled ways of working to improve efficiency in wafer matching operations, lot tracking, data summarization, exception monitoring, and routine reporting where applicable.
• Assist Process Integration (PI) Engineers to coordinate and trouble shoot daily line issues such as disposition of line deviations and engineering job submissions for analysis.
• Assist in inline inspection and coordinate non-routine metro/RDA inspection on R&D experiments.
• Support process flow setup activities for production and the short loop flow.
• Extract, analyze, and summarize data from SWR and Conversion experiments in a report format and make recommendations to engineering based on the data.
• Manage wafer shipment logistics between fabs (swap lots and fab-to-fab offloads) for technology transfer and yield learning.
• Monitor key inline/probe/final parametric indices for any deviation and to trigger first level of investigations promptly.
• Competent in the knowledge and expert usage of Micron’s systems to perform routine operational tasks effectively (Micron Central/DataNav/SPACE etc.).
• Own or contribute towards activities and projects that improve STC PI operational procedures, systems/tools, process capability, yield, and quality.
• Assist PI team supervisor(s) to manage Team Level Key Performance Indexes (KPI) such as Global Conversion Process (GCP), SWR, WIP status.

Successful Candidates For This Position Will Have

• Proven ability to make sound judgments, including problem escalation to PI engineering when appropriate.
• Basic computer language scripting/AI skills are advantaged.
