Job summary

Evolution Singapore is seeking a Researcher/Senior Researcher to advance applied R&D in Data Science, AI and NLP. You will work on practical AI-driven solutions, framing research into prototyped outcomes and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes strong ML foundations, Python proficiency and an ability to communicate complex results in technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong ML, Data Science, statistics and experimental research foundations.
• Proficient Python with PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
• Experience evaluating models and interpreting results.
• Publications or patents in relevant fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research across Data Science, NLP, AI, ML and emerging AI technologies.
• Design, develop and evaluate ML models, algorithms and prototypes.
• Work with structured and unstructured data, including text and documents.
• Develop AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI agents and automation.
• Translate research concepts into POCs and practical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers and domain experts.
• Prepare technical reports, research papers and presentations.
