Job summary

BJAK is seeking applied AI engineers to build AI-native systems for its Neobank app. This role focuses on turning AI ideas into production workflows that improve user experiences, automate processes and scale operations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on engineering experience with AI agents, LLM apps, and automation, and can ship reliable systems while considering security and cost. Remote, based in Singapore or nearby markets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience with production systems.
• Experience building AI agents, LLM apps, or automation workflows.
• Ability to ship working systems with reliable performance.
• Fintech, banking, support automation or risk automation experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents, workflows and automations that solve real customer, product and operations problems.
• Apply LLMs, retrieval, tool calling, evaluations, guardrails and automation to practical financial workflows.
• Create AI-assisted experiences for onboarding, support, KYC, risk review, CRM, operations, and document handling.
• Work with product and engineering teams to identify what is worth building, then build it quickly and improve it in production.
• Design around constraints: accuracy, latency, cost, security and user trust.
