Job summary

Riskdata Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Applications Programmer to develop, enhance, test and maintain enterprise applications and database solutions.

The role focuses on Oracle SQL/PLSQL, ETL data integration and batch processing within banking and financial services environments. You will design and implement ETL mappings, perform testing and provide production support while collaborating with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and production fixes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with ETL tools, data integration, and batch processing.
• Familiarity with banking, financial services, risk management or regulatory reporting systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise Oracle SQL, PL/SQL procedures, packages and triggers.
• Design ETL mappings, data integration workflows and migrations.
• Perform enhancements, debugging and production support.
• Create Unix shell scripts and batch scheduling processes to automate data processing.
• Prepare design documents, test cases and workflow diagrams, and conduct unit and integration testing.
• Support financial risk management, regulatory reporting and data warehouse applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams for system upgrades, releases and production fixes.
• Apply Oracle Database, SQL Server, Informatica, Python, PySpark, Databricks and Apache Spark as required by project needs.

We are seeking an experienced Applications Programmer to develop, enhance, test and maintain enterprise applications and database solutions. The role involves Oracle PL/SQL development, SQL programming, ETL data integration, batch processing and application support within banking and financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise Oracle SQL, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers and database objects.
• Design, develop and maintain ETL mappings, data integration workflows and data migration processes.
• Perform application enhancements, debugging, troubleshooting and production support.
• Develop Unix shell scripts and batch scheduling processes to automate data processing.
• Prepare technical design documents, test cases and workflow diagrams, and conduct unit and integration testing.
• Support financial risk management, regulatory reporting and data warehouse applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades, releases and production fixes.
• Apply relevant technologies including Oracle Database, SQL Server, Informatica, Python, PySpark, Databricks and Apache Spark, as required by project needs.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, database development and application maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, data integration, Unix shell scripting and batch processing.
• Experience in application testing, troubleshooting, system enhancements and production support.
• Knowledge of banking, financial services, risk management or regulatory reporting systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with Python, PySpark, Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL Server and reporting tools will be an advantage.
