Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of custom-built applications to meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Define application architecture, integration points, and data flow in collaboration with business analysts, solution architects, and developers.
• Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Oversee implementation of core modules, ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and security compliance.
• Drive code reviews, design assurance, and peer validations to maintain solution integrity.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment configurations.
• Facilitate technical workshops and discussions to resolve design and delivery challenges.
• Manage change requests, system enhancements, and production support activities.
• Provide technical mentorship and promote best practices in software development and system reliability.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and documentation.
• Act as technical liaison for stakeholders, ensuring transparency on risks, dependencies, and progress.
• Participate in data analysis and contribute to project documentation, workshops, and presentations.

Requirements

• Strong leadership in managing custom‑built application projects from analysis to deployment.
• Proficient in modern application architectures and coding standards; hands‑on understanding of Cobol, mainframe systems, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and AWS Cloud services.
• Experience with microservices and event‑driven architecture (Kafka, SNS/SQS or equivalent).
• Skilled in legacy modernization or mainframe migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (GitLab, Jira), and DevOps practices.
• Experience in data modeling, API orchestration, and integration between legacy and cloud‑native systems.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead client workshops, project planning, and technical design sessions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to write clear technical and functional documentation.
• Familiarity with SDLC governance processes.
