Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking engineers to design, develop, test and maintain enterprise applications and digital solutions. You will translate business needs into scalable architectures, build RESTful APIs and microservices, and ensure secure, reliable system integrations across platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement of development practices while ensuring documentation and operational guides stay current.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant application development experience.
• Experience building enterprise applications, web applications, APIs or mobile solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum or DevOps delivery practices.
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Node.js.

• Ensure proper backup, recovery and security controls are implemented.
• Testing & Quality Assurance
• Develop and execute unit testing, system testing and integration testing activities.

• Assist in release testing and deployment validation.
• Promote automated testing and quality assurance best practices.
• Application Support & Maintenance
• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 application support where required.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support change requests, enhancements and system upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.

• DevOps & Cloud Deployment

• Support monitoring and incident management activities.

• Documentation & Continuous Improvement
• Prepare technical specifications, design documents and support documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and solution reviews.
• Recommend technical improvements, development standards and process enhancements.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks and development approaches.
• Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and capability building.
