Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Engineer to support our Contractor Management System (CMS) Project, which streamlines contractor onboarding, safety compliance, access control, and operational governance across multiple facilities.

In this role, you will develop, optimize, and maintain data workflows, system integrations, and compliance automation within the CMS platform. The successful candidate will collaborate with HR, Safety, and IT teams to ensure secure, accurate, and efficient management of contractor data and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows to manage contractor onboarding, access validation, training status, and compliance checks.
  • Integrate the CMS with internal enterprise systems such as HRMS, Access Control, Visitor Management, and Safety Training Portals.
  • Automate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting for contractor compliance, safety, and work permit tracking.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for audit, performance metrics, and compliance monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain validation, error-handling, and alerting mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with business units to support regulatory compliance with MOM, ISO, and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards.
  • Work with structured and unstructured contractor data to enable actionable insights and automated reports.
  • Support system upgrades, patching, and workflow deployments in production environments.
  • Manage integrations via APIs, SQL queries, and cloud connectors between CMS and other data systems.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and configuration details.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and ensure secure handling of contractor data in accordance with privacy regulations.
  • Work with IT teams to enhance security, role-based access, and data governance controls within CMS.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and automation of contractor management processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • 4–7 years of experience in application support, data workflow development, or system integration, preferably in contractor or workforce management systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., KNIME, Power Automate, or similar ETL platforms).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data handling from relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with API integrations (REST/SOAP) and enterprise data exchange frameworks.
  • Strong scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for workflow automation.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics) and performance tuning.
  • Understanding of identity and access management (IAM), data validation, and workflow controls.
  • Experience working with HRMS, Access Control, or Safety Management Systems is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, MOM, WSH) and data protection standards.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams (HR, Safety, and IT).
