Job summary

An engineering solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to prepare technical proposals and collaborate with clients to deliver cost-effective solutions. Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of rotating machinery and at least 5 years of experience in modular engineering within the oil and gas sector. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 5-years’ experience in modular/skid engineering in the oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and internal teams for efficient solutions.
• Support procurement with technical evaluations.

Skills

Technical understanding of rotating machinery

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare technical proposals, including equipment sizing, system layouts, and scope clarifications.
2. Work closely with clients, internal engineering teams, and vendors to translate requirements into cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions.
3. Support procurement with technical evaluations and supplier coordination.
4. Interface with OEMs and ensure integration of key rotating equipment into modular designs.

Requirements

1. Strong technical understanding of rotating machinery including compressors, pumps, engines, and electric motors.
2. 5-years’ experience in modular/skid engineering and familiarity with oil & gas industry codes and standards.
3. Knowledge of FPSO topside systems and project lifecycle from FEED to commissioning is an advantage.
4. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or equivalent.
