Overview

Job title: Application Engineer — Reference ID: 34951. Salary Range: 2,600 - 3,600 SGD. Our client is a leading Japanese multinational corporation specializing in the supply of high-quality tools and equipment. They are currently seeking an Application Engineer to lead research initiatives and provide process development support to their customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform Grinder process development support for customer
• Perform in-house application test cut and on-site customer support
• Process development support to customer
• Process customer claims for abrasive product
• Perform technical support with good knowledge on blade / wheel / Laser
• Required technical understanding
• Participate in company organized activities
• Promote good interdepartmental relationship
• Establish and maintain good relationship with customers
• Communicate frequently with Engineer from Japan

Requirements

• Must - Diploma in Mechanical, Electronic, or any other engineering discipline
• 1-2 years of experience in Process Engineer/Research and process development support to customers in the Semiconductor industry
• Inexperienced candidates with strong interest in Application and Process Engineering, eager for new challenges and good communication skills are encouraged to apply
• Candidate should be experienced in handling improvement or development side upon customer request
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel for business needs (Such as presentation and forecasting)
• Willing to travel and work overtime when required

Preferences

• Possess knowledge or working experience in Dicer / Grinder/ Laser is preferred
• Experience working in a Japanese company
