Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer with strong technical understanding of rotating machinery. You will prepare technical proposals, support procurement with evaluations, and ensure integration of key equipment. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in modular engineering, preferably in the oil and gas sector, and a relevant degree.

Qualifications

• 5-years’ experience in modular/skid engineering.
• Experience in project lifecycle from FEED to commissioning is an advantage.
• Ability to interface with OEMs for system integration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical proposals, including equipment sizing and scope clarifications.
• Work closely with clients and vendors to translate requirements into solutions.
• Support procurement with technical evaluations.

Skills

Technical understanding of rotating machinery

Familiarity with oil & gas industry codes and standards

Knowledge of FPSO topside systems

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical proposals, including equipment sizing, system layouts, and scope clarifications.
• Work closely with clients, internal engineering teams, and vendors to translate requirements into cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Support procurement with technical evaluations and supplier coordination.
• Interface with OEMs and ensure integration of key rotating equipment into modular designs.

Requirements:

• Strong technical understanding of rotating machinery including compressors, pumps, engines, and electric motors.
• 5-years’ experience in modular/skid engineering and familiarity with oil & gas industry codes and standards.
• Knowledge of FPSO topside systems and project lifecycle from FEED to commissioning is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering or equivalent.
