Job summary

Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Software Engineer to strengthen our enterprise engineering team in Singapore. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services and contribute to frontend work using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java .
• Build and maintain frontend components using TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
• Build and maintain integrations with relational databases including MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL .
• Participate in application architecture discussions and technical solution design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Participate in pair programming sessions and collaborative development activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development standards.
• Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.

Must-Have Experience

• 3-10 years proven experience developing applications with Java in a corporate or enterprise setting
• Full stack development experience, including React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work
• Experience delivering working code under minimal supervision
