Role Overview

As an Application Developer at ITLink, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management solutions for our diverse clients in Singapore. What You'll Do

• Develop and Implement Solutions: Collaborate with Solution Architects and Leads to design, develop, and implement robust IBM Planning Analytics and Microsoft Power BI solutions, custom applications, and efficient data integration pipelines.
• Problem Solving & Optimization: Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, optimize application performance, and adapt solutions based on evolving user and business requirements, ensuring our solutions are always at their best.
• Technical Consulting: Translate complex business requirements into precise technical specifications, providing expert guidance on data modeling, financial reporting, and analytics design.
• Data Integration & Transformation: Work with various data sources (e.g., SAP, Xero) to build efficient data models and insightful dashboards, directly supporting our productized Power BI services and future SaaS initiatives.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive system testing, identify defects, and ensure high-quality, reliable application delivery, maintaining ITLink's standard of excellence.
• Documentation & Training: Create clear technical documentation and user guides, and provide effective training to end-users to ensure successful adoption and long-term client empowerment.
• Project Contribution: Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and tracking, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and communicating progress effectively.
• Innovation & Learning: Actively participate in learning and applying new technologies rapidly, including our proprietary tools like TMVGate, contributing to our continuous innovation and competitive edge.

What We're Looking For (Requirements)

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Prowess: Demonstrably strong analytical abilities with a proven track record of solving complex problems, perhaps through academic projects, hackathons, or coursework. Your ability to think critically and deconstruct challenges is paramount.
• Foundational Technical Skills: Solid understanding of core programming concepts, data structures, and ideally, experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL). Any exposure to Business Intelligence tools, data modeling concepts, or financial software (even Excel VBA, Python scripting for data analysis, etc.) is a significant advantage, showcasing a relevant mindset.
• High Learning Agility & Curiosity: An undeniable eagerness and capacity to quickly learn and master new, specialized technologies like IBM Planning Analytics and Microsoft Power BI. Your determination to understand complex systems and continuously upskill will define your success.
