Job summary

HARTING Technology Group is seeking a Regional APAC Trade Compliance Specialist to ensure export control compliance across Asia Pacific, based in Singapore with regional travel. You will coordinate master data quality, process improvements, and stakeholder training for APAC markets.

The role demands strong knowledge of APAC regulations, English and Mandarin fluency, and ability to operate in a matrixed, international environment. Travel within APAC is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international trade, law, or related studies.
• 3–8 years in APAC trade compliance or export control within international organisations.
• Proficiency in SAP GTS or comparable systems.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel within the APAC region.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with export control regulations across APAC.
• Maintain master data quality for trade compliance including SAP GTS.
• Provide training on export control regulations and data processes to internal teams.
• Independently perform operational trade compliance activities in daily operations.
• Manage country-specific trade compliance exceptions and licensing requirements.
• Engage with authorities and brokers on trade rulings and exemptions.
