Job summary

Liberty in Asia Pacific seeks an experienced underwriter to join our GTS Asia Pacific team in Singapore, Sydney or Hong Kong. You will assess and underwrite tax liability insurance risks across APAC, price risk, draft policy wordings and manage the end-to-end underwriting process while developing client, broker and adviser relationships.

The role requires 8+ years in corporate tax advisory or tax-focused roles, with strong knowledge of APAC tax laws, cross-border M&A experience and professional

Qualifications

• 8+ years of corporate tax advisory or tax-focused experience.
• Experience advising on cross-border M&A, reorganisations, restructurings and contingent tax matters.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and practice across APAC jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite tax liability insurance risks across APAC with guidance.
• Price risk using pricing tools and provide clear coverage proposals.
• Draft bespoke policy wordings and manage end-to-end underwriting processes.
• Build relationships with clients, brokers and advisers to drive growth.
• Support business strategy, product development and market opportunities.
