Description

The APAC Talent Acquisition Manager leads talent attraction and hiring across the region while supporting people strategy, talent development, and employee engagement to ensure a positive employee journey. Working as part of the global People & Culture team and reporting to the APAC HR Manager, the role primarily focuses on building strong candidate pipelines, securing top talent, and collaborating with teams across functions and regions to deliver an inspiring, well-rounded employee experience. Additionally, the role further supports key functions within people operations.

Key Responsibilities
Talent attraction & recruiting
  • Partner with the hiring business and form strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand and plan for talent needs and recruiting best practices
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our business and industry — how it works, how it’s evolving, and the skills and capabilities needed to support
  • Own the full-cycle recruitment strategy for Human8 in APAC
  • Sourcing and screening candidates through various channels (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, networking relationships including university ties, referrals, etc.), and proactively develop a talent pipeline
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews with candidates and interview team
  • Conducting phone and virtual interviews for candidates under ownership and be able to assess relevant knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Negotiating job offers and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires
  • Developing and updating job descriptions and job specifications
  • Managing talent pipeline on our applicant tracking system, Pinpoint
  • Identifying and driving implementation of improvements in the talent attraction and hiring processes.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends related to attracting, recruiting, and onboarding talent.
Recruitment marketing
  • Continuously evolve the Talent Attraction strategy and explore new and creative ways to attract unique talent within and outside the industry.
  • Partnering with Marketing and other internal stakeholders in setting up employer branding and recruitment marketing strategy.
  • Lead execution of recruitment marketing strategy including activities such as participating in job fairs and recruiting events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
  • Create and execute regional recruitment marketing plans.
  • Create employer-led content to be shared via social media channels.
  • Organize & host employer branding events.
  • Be a passionate advocate for Human8, promoting and representing the brand with pride and positivity.
People operations
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Oversee offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and the processing of final documentation.
  • Maintain and update HR systems and databases, ensuring accurate employee records and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Administer local payroll processes in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day administration operations of the local office.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • A bachelor’s degree or above
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience recruiting talent with diverse skill sets, including proven success creating successful recruitment strategies
  • Experience in a generalist human resources role, including but not limited to payroll processing, onboarding/offboarding is a plus
  • Fluent in Chinese to effectively engage with Chinese-speaking candidates across Greater China
  • Knowledge and experience in social media (LinkedIn, social networks, etc.)
  • Action-oriented and proactive, with a proven ability to take ownership of initiatives, ensure timely implementation, and deliver high-quality outcomes; positive attitude towards challenges and embraces change with initiative and self-motivation
  • Demonstrate strong communication, persuasion, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Highly motivated, well-organized self-starter, with determination to make an impact on internal team and business performance
  • Work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to re-prioritize according to the business needs
