Overview

We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Statutory Compliance Accountant to lead our APAC statutory reporting and audit function. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial filings across multiple jurisdictions—especially in a high-turnover, multi-entity manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in statutory audits, tax coordination, and cross-border reporting, with the ability to manage complexity across both entity and non-entity countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory audits and financial filings across APAC, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and regulators across entity and non-entity jurisdictions.
• Manage WHT, VAT/GST, and transfer pricing documentation for manufacturing flows and intercompany transactions.
• Reconcile statutory accounts with group reporting and ensure alignment with consolidation standards
• Establish internal controls, approval matrices, and drive automation to enhance reporting efficiency.
• Mentor a small team and collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, commercial, and operations teams.

Qualifications
