Job summary

Goldman Sachs Internal Audit is seeking detail-oriented team players to assess controls, test processes, and advise on smarter control solutions. The group focuses on governance, risk management and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Successful candidates will have a university degree in finance or accounting, relevant certifications, and at least 1 year of audit experience in financial services. Multilingual capabilities in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin are an asset.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or quantitative discipline.
• Professional certifications CPA, CFA, CIA, or CFE preferred.
• 1 year+ experience in public accounting or internal audit in financial services.
• Asian language skills (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin) are an asset.
• Strong leadership, relationship and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of business areas and products.
• Participate in walkthroughs and execute testing.
• Identify risks, assess controls, and recommend improvements.
• Assist in audit scoping, planning, fieldwork and reporting.
• Prepare audit conclusions and present to IA senior management.
• Follow up on open audit issues.
• Contribute to department-wide initiatives to improve IA processes.
