Job summary

Everest Intl Re, Ltd Singapore seeks a Senior Property Underwriter for the APAC region. The role involves underwriting new and renewal property business across diverse APAC markets, collaborating with brokers, cedents and clients, and managing risk within authority.

Experience with facultative reinsurance and Lloyd’s market is advantageous, with travel to APAC markets as required. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team in Singapore, contributing to disciplined, profitable growth

Qualifications

7+ years’ experience in property underwriting, APAC markets preferred.
Experience with facultative reinsurance and/or Lloyd’s market is advantageous.
Strong understanding of catastrophe modelling, actuarial concepts, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Underwrite and manage a diversified Property portfolio across the APAC region within defined underwriting authority.
Evaluate new and renewal business across multiple occupancies through broker and direct channels.
Underwrite and service APAC open market property accounts (new and renewal).
Review submissions and apply sound underwriting judgement to assess risk and terms.
Drive profitable growth by identifying new business opportunities across APAC markets.
