Job summary

A global financial services firm in Singapore is looking for a motivated individual to drive the commodity client franchise. Responsibilities include originating new clients and providing sales coverage across the APAC region for OTC commodities. Candidates must have strong direct sales experience in commodity derivatives, excellent compliance and risk management skills, and the ability to develop a direct client base. Familiarity with financial derivatives and a track record of success are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven PNL track record in sales.
• Familiarity with commodity underlyings, especially energy.
• Strong risk and compliance ethic.

Responsibilities

• Grow the commodity client franchise by originating new clients.
• Provide high-quality sales coverage across APAC for OTC Commodities.
• Coordinate KYC/onboarding and Credit approvals for new clients.
• Manage 1-2 junior team members as needed.

Skills

Direct sales experience in OTC commodity derivatives

Familiarity with financial derivatives

Strong customer focus

Knowledge of onboarding / credit approval procedures

Ability to develop and manage a direct client base

Language skills in Asian regional languages
