Cummins is seeking a Global Trade Management professional to oversee import/export compliance across the APAC region, including Singapore, Australia, and Japan. You will advise on best practices, reduce risks, and lead export control activities globally.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a college degree, and the ability to work with governmental bodies and brokers to maintain documentation and compliance. On-site or remote options may apply, depending on assignment.

Formación

• College, university, or equivalent degree or equivalent experience required.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains a strong understanding of import/export laws and regulations for the assigned geography and ensures compliance.
• Evaluates processes to identify opportunities to reduce risks/costs in import/export activities and implements changes.
• Advises the business to capture opportunities and meet needs in a compliant manner at minimal cost; escalates complex issues.
• Reviews and presents management reports on import/export activities.
• Conducts training on import/export topics and maintains relationships with government bodies and brokers to ensure documentation and compliance.
• Guides and delegates work considering employee skills and development needs.
• Develops, maintains, and executes understanding of export control laws for defense/dual-use products and registrations.
