Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. in Singapore seeks an Assistant Vice President to own core accounting processes and end-to-end close for APAC House/Fund entities, delivering accurate statutory and management reporting.

You will coordinate with regional stakeholders and service providers while driving process improvements to ensure high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities include leading monthly/quarterly/annual closes, end-to-end accounting processes, and maintaining internal controls.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 9-12 years of progressive financial reporting experience.
• Experience in asset and/or fund management is advantageous.
• Proficient with US GAAP/IFRS/Local GAAP and strong technical accounting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close for APAC entities with timely reporting.
• Manage end-to-end accounting processes including intercompany, accruals and balance sheet substantiation.
• Develop COE resources and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coordinate preparation and review of local GAAP financial statements and commentary.
• Oversee tax compliance activities and regulatory filings for APAC jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to drive process improvements.
