Job summary

M&G INVESTMENTS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an ESG Specialist on a short-term contract to support integration of ESG considerations across the APAC Equities platform.

You will partner with investment professionals and the Sustainability & Stewardship team to conduct ESG research, engage with companies, and support sustainability initiatives shaping investment decisions. You will engage with analysts to assess sustainability strategies, governance practices and climate-related risks, contributing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• 5–8 years in ESG investing, sustainable finance, equity research or stewardship.
• Strong understanding of ESG integration and governance.
• Strong analytical and research skills to translate ESG topics into insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with teams and stakeholders.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Integrate material ESG risks into the investment process with APAC team.
• Develop and implement ESG research frameworks for APAC equities.
• Assist investment analysts in assessing sustainability strategies and governance.
• Support engagement with investee companies and track outcomes.
• Contribute to proxy voting analysis and marketing materials.
• Respond to ad hoc inquiries from stakeholders.
