Job summary

Scotiabank in Singapore offers a Business Risk Management APAC Traineeship within BRM APAC, supporting risk oversight, tools and change management projects across GBM Asia Pacific.

You will learn to coordinate reporting, monitor risk indicators, and assist in process design while gaining exposure to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and governance discussions in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/Economics.
• Preferably in Year 2 or final year of undergraduate studies.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Support front office supervisory oversight and monitoring tasks.
• Participate in risk management tools such as CRCA, RCSA, NIRA.
• Assist in design, mapping and improvement of processes.
• Gain exposure to internal controls for front-to-back processes.
