Job summary

SUMITOMO MITSUI BANKING CORPORATION Singapore Branch is seeking a Trade Operations professional to handle daily trade transactions with precision within SLA. You will review customer submissions, perform documentary checks, and ensure compliance with regulatory and bank policies.

The role requires strong risk awareness and teamwork. Responsibilities include daily reconciliation, reporting to stakeholders, and resolving client inquiries while supporting process improvement initiatives and other

Qualifications

• Graduate, preferably in Banking & Finance.
• Ability to manage daily operations with strong risk awareness and analytical skills.
• Self-starter who can work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Process daily trade transactions in a timely and accurate manner within service level agreement.
• Perform pre-processing review of customers’ submissions and conduct documentary checks.
• Ensure regulatory, bank policies, guidelines, control and compliance requirements are strictly adhered to.
• Complete daily reconciliation activities and prepare reports to internal stakeholders and/or customers.
• Liaise with client on updating transaction statuses and support addressing transaction related queries.
• Contribute to various process improvements and other projects as allocated.

Requirements

• At least 1-3years of trade operations experience
• Ability to manage daily operations with strong risk awareness, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter who can work effectively in a team setting
• Good interpersonal skills, decisive in communications
