Job summary

Phillip Securities Pte Ltd (A member of PhillipCapital) seeks an Analyst Programmer to join the CFD Market Making Team. You will bridge business needs with technical solutions by designing, developing, and maintaining trading applications and infrastructures for efficient operations.

Reporting to the Data Analyst Manager, you will build data pipelines, APIs and dashboards, while collaborating with traders, analysts and infrastructure teams to implement technology initiatives and ensure data

Qualifications

• Degree/Background in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, C, SQL, Python and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with trading concepts and financial markets preferred.
• Parallel Computing experience a plus.
• CMFAS M1a, M5 & M6 and M6a certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate into functional and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications, databases, and automation solutions supporting CFD Market Making operations.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, system integrations and APIs.
• Build and enhance live dashboards to support trading, risk management, and business decision-making.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production systems to ensure reliability, performance, and data accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and system governance procedures.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Collaborate with traders, analysts, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to deliver technology initiatives and process improvements.

• Experience with Parallel Computing is an advantage.
• Certifications in CMFAS M1a, M5 & M6 and M6a is an advantage.
