Job summary

K LINE LOGISTICS [Singapore] PTE LTD seeks an Analyst Programmer to analyze business requirements and design, develop, test, and maintain in-house applications that support operations and strategic objectives.

You will work with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality software using C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Python, and SQL Server, while ensuring ISO documentation, security standards, deployment procedures, and thorough technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong experience in C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Python, SQL Server, and RESTful API development.
• Experience designing relational databases, writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimization.
• Good understanding of SDLC, OOP, and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain in-house applications using C#, .NET 8+, Python, and SQL Server.
• Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and optimize database performance.
• Produce system and technical documentation including ERD, API docs, deployment guides, and change logs.

Job Description

As an Analyst Programmer, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining in-house business applications that support the company's operational and strategic objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions while ensuring compliance with company standards and ISO documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and understand business requirements, and translate them into clear Functional Specifications.

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain in-house applications using C#, .NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, Python, SQL Server, and related technologies.

• Design and develop intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly application interfaces to enhance user experience.

• Design and optimize relational databases, database objects, and SQL queries to ensure performance, scalability, and data integrity.

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including:

• Functional Specifications
• Technical Specifications
• System Design Documents
• Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD)
• Database Design Documents
• API Documentation
• Deployment Guides
• Change Logs
• Other technical documentation required to support ISO compliance

• Develop user manuals, operating procedures, and training materials, and conduct user training sessions when required.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing in-house applications to meet evolving business requirements.

• Perform system testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution to ensure application reliability and quality.

• Participate in application deployment, production releases, and post-implementation support.

• Provide after-office-hours or weekend support for production system deployments and critical production issues when required.

• Collaborate with business users, vendors, and internal IT team members to ensure successful project delivery.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices, and recommend improvements where appropriate.

• Ensure all software development activities comply with company security policies, coding standards, and established development methodologies.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience.

• Experience in creating technical documentation and system documentation.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of application security best practices and secure coding techniques.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with users across different business functions.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver quality work within project timelines.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• A positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve application quality, security, and user experience.

• Experience in the Logistics, Freight Forwarding industry will be an added advantage.
