Job summary

Scoot in Singapore is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to translate the network plan into actionable timetable changes, ensuring that every adjustment is executed accurately and on time to maximise aircraft utilisation and minimise disruption.

You will coordinate with Network Planning, commercial and operations, negotiate slots, load downstream data, and support regulatory filings while keeping passengers informed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, aviation, operations research, business administration, science or engineering.
  • Experience in airline network planning or scheduling disciplines is an asset.
  • Travel industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage aircraft utilisation plans to maximise aircraft utilisation, while balancing commercial objectives and operational resilience through close coordination with Network Planning and other commercial / operational departments.
  • Perform schedule changes and coordinate the schedule change process with other departments to ensure that all passengers are notified in time and all relevant stakeholders are informed about the schedule change.
  • Manage the airline’s slot portfolio; negotiate with airport slot coordinators to acquire new / improve existing takeoff and landing slots.
  • Regularly update and distribute operational and marketing schedules to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support, as required, in regulatory matters including filing for seasonal and ad-hoc schedule permits. Assist with other regulatory work as required.
  • Ensure that schedules are correctly loaded into various downstream platforms.
  • Handle passengers' re-accommodation based on established SOP and troubleshoot issues as and when they arise.
  • Resolve system related issues, including providing business case for required enhancements.

Requirements
  • Possess a minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Aviation, Operations Research, Business Administration, Science & Engineering)
  • Work experience in airline or similar industry network planning or scheduling-related disciplines will be an asset
  • Experience in travel industry is preferred, though not a pre-requisite
