Job summary

Maybank Research Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an analytical individual to support the Macro team in their research function as a research assistant.

You will track economic developments and media reports on Asia, and work with databases and modeling in spreadsheets and PowerPoint. The role requires comfort with CEIC/Bloomberg databases, strong English writing, and a high level of Mandarin proficiency, reflecting the regional focus of the team.

Qualifications

• Interest in Asian macroeconomics, geopolitics and financial markets.
• Degree in Economics.
• Comfortable with databases, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• High level of proficiency in Mandarin.
