A global alternative asset manager is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the growth of its Credit business primarily in the Asia Pacific region. This role involves strategic initiatives, financial planning, and collaboration with teams to foster business growth. Ideal candidates should possess 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and a Bachelor's degree. The role offers exposure to senior management and a dynamic work environment.
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Chief Operating Office (‘COO’) to support the growth and evolution of our Credit business unit globally with a primary focus on the Asia Pacific region (‘APAC’) occasionally supporting the global and European businesses. Growing the Credit business in Asia is a key, long‑term strategic priority for Apollo. The role will provide direct support to the APAC Credit platform by driving strategic initiatives, working with the existing Asia Credit investment and capital formation teams to drive growth, and help manage day‑to‑day operations. The candidate will be heavily involved in developing and managing a broad range of business priorities alongside key stakeholders and will have daily exposure to senior management, both in Asia and globally. A successful candidate should have a strong desire to grow and manage a leading asset management platform by leveraging their experience to pursue new ideas and execute on the firm’s strategic ambitions.
Business Strategy & Execution : Support Credit COOs and business leaders in all aspects of the organic growth of the APAC Credit business, including awareness of market trends and competitor activities, as well as proposing new business ideas and initiatives to help drive growth and any special projects.
New Business / Fund Development : Partner with the Client & Product Solutions team and Insurance Solutions Group to evaluate, structure, and execute on new product concepts for third‑party LPs and affiliated insurance companies, including product rationale and design, competitive merits / edge, profitability analysis, and targeted fundraising strategy, as well as maintaining a close dialogue on the capital raise progress and LP sentiment.
Financial Planning and Analysis : Along with Business Leaders and Apollo’s business planning team, ownership over forecasting and budgeting processes for APAC Credit.
Ongoing Business Reviews & Reporting : Responsible for contributing to recurring business reviews to update senior leadership on all key initiatives including growth strategy, KPIs, budgets, infrastructure and operations, and hiring. Work closely with investment teams on updating the pipeline and ensuring different teams have visibility into top deals and priorities being worked on.
Talent & Business Organizational Structure : Partner with Human Capital in region to drive and execute budgeting, hiring plan, and ongoing recruitment efforts in Asia.
Coordination with Apollo Enterprise Solutions : Serve as a liaison between each business segment with all Enterprise Solutions functions across Apollo (Legal, Tax, Compliance, Technology, Risk, Operations, Finance, etc.) to drive ongoing communication and ensure efficient infrastructure support for the investment businesses.
Execute on ad‑hoc requests from senior management; examples include preparing regional updates, quarterly business updates, strategy reviews, annual offsite strategy, and more.
