Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. About Our Team:

The Corporate Treasury team plays a critical role in managing the Bank's balance sheet, liquidity, interest rate risk, and capital. Within Corporate Treasury, the Balance Sheet Management team is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Bank's Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, which is essential for accurate product profitability measurement, business line performance assessment, and effective balance sheet management. We are committed to leveraging innovation to enhance our capabilities and decision-making.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Analyst to join our FTP & Systems team. This role will be pivotal in evolving our FTP methodologies and ensuring the successful integration of significant bank-wide project with key finance and data infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of FTP principles, financial products, and data analytics, with a keen interest in driving system enhancements and process improvements within a complex financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Systems Configuration & Management:
  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot FTP system parameters, curves, rules, and data interfaces.
  • Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and timely availability for FTP processes.
  • Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and analytical capabilities.
  • Actively participate in a bank-wide project to integrate FTP systems with broader finance and data platforms, contributing to design, testing, and implementation phases.
  • Explore and evaluate potential applications of AI/ML techniques within FTP.
  • Develop and prototype AI/ML models using relevant tools and programming languages (e.g., Python with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analytics teams to operationalize successful AI/ML models into the FTP framework.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML relevant to financial services and FTP.
  • Support the ongoing development, refinement, and documentation of FTP methodologies across various products and business lines.
  • Translate FTP policies and business requirements into technical specifications for system configuration.
  • Perform calculations, analysis, and validation of FTP rates and charges.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure FTP frameworks are understood and effectively applied.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics / Artificial Intelligence, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in participating in large-scale system integration or implementation projects is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest and foundational knowledge in AI and ML concepts and techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in corporate treasury, risk management, or finance role within a financial institution, with a strong focus on FTP.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
  • Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant for data analysis and ML (e.g., Python, R) is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Experience with statistical software packages is an asset.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to think critically and challenge existing processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
