In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high level of forecasting accuracy of SSB machines.
- Support day to day BAU, timely communication with stakeholders on any discrepancies
- Prepare and coordinate unit Performance reports.
- Perform data analytics on machine faults and identify actionable insights to improve machine uptime.
- Deep dive and query root causes and suggest solutions to resolve.
- Be able to automate manual processes and suggest process improvements for the department.
- Manage ad-hoc analysis such as statistical and predictive modelling to solve / respond to business questions.
- Prepare and support budgeting, accruals and Strategic Cost Management processes.
- Prepare and support Customer Experience portfolio, contribute ideas to improve Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) / improve survey results.
- Participate and contribute ideas for team activities within the unit and department.
- Additional scope may be included depending on business needs.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Engineering / Statistics / Finance with at least 3 years relevant experience
- Advanced skills in MS Office Products, BI tools e.g., Qliksense, Tableau, etc
- Familiarity with Consumer Banking Operations and SSB terminals and its operations will be an advantage.
- Strong technical and applicable experience in analytics languages e.g., R, Python, SAS would be an advantage.
- Proficient in SQL and query optimization on e.g. Teradata, Hadoop, Sparkola, Superset, S3, Alluxio, etc, would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in Business Analytics
- A good team player who can work well with product specialist, systems specialist, technical teams and external vendors.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of staff and external parties.
- Demonstrate Critical Thinking, ability to suggest improvements and identify risks.
- A highly organized individual with ability to work under pressure with accuracy and commitment.
- Self-starter, independent and able to rise to challenges and meet deadlines effectively.
